TuffShell Roofing
A hard-hatted turtle for a roofer. The name does the work, the shell finishes the joke.

- Mascot
TuffShell had the best kind of name to design for: the metaphor was already sitting there. A roof is a shell. A turtle wears one. All I had to do was not overplay it.
The character
A tortoise in a yellow hard hat, thumbs up, with a mountain ridge behind him that reads as a roofline. The palette stays in olive and sand so it feels sturdy rather than cartoonish, and the badge sits on a deep green ring that survives being printed one-color on a truck door.
The wordmark
Heavy condensed caps in cream, with ROOFING spaced out underneath in tan. Condensed because roofing companies put their name on ladders, invoices, and lawn signs, and none of those are wide.
