- Mascot
A pineapple soft-serve stand needed a mascot that reads from across a boardwalk and still holds up shrunk to a cup lid.
The brief
Tropical, loud, family-friendly. It had to work on a menu board, a cup, and a sticker.
What I did
A pineapple character with a shaka and a cup of whip, framed by palm trees, plus alternate poses and a wide beach scene.
The result
A cast rather than a single logo, so signage, cups, and social all pull from the same world.
The character
The pineapple holds its own product. That detail does the selling before anyone reads a word. The shaka sets the tone, the palm-tree frame gives the badge a silhouette you can spot at distance, and the crown doubles as the top of the mark.
The wordmark
Rounded, sun-gradient lettering, with "pineapple" set lowercase and soft over a heavier all-caps "WHIPS". The two weights keep the name readable at small sizes where a single style would mush together.
The wider cast
For murals and wall wraps, the pineapple got a beach and a supporting cast: a surfing lemon, a strawberry running out of the surf, an orange, a watermelon, a coconut crew. Same line weight, same eyes, so it all reads as one family.
